Full-size Blankets

Ok....here are a few items that I've completed in the past couple of years.  I'm going to try and re-format everything but wanted to go ahead and post some pictures since I have told people that I would.  :)

I made this one for my bedroom while I was recovering from back surgery.
The Pattern is Alexi Throw by Berroco

This was another one that I made for our house, also while recuperating from back surgery.
The pattern is a variation of Boy's Afghan by Ann V. Gallentine.

These two were wedding gifts for my childhood friend Summer.

This brown one is probably one of my favorite patterns that I've done so far.
The yarn is I Love This Cotton - Brown.  It is 100% cotton and very soft.
The pattern is Sinead Throw by Berroco.

Yet another wedding gift.
The pattern is Lace and Cable Afghan.

Fern Pattern Lap Robe

A blanket made with the King Charles Brocade Stitch

 Another wedding gift.

A Beginning

Well, here 's the first post of my knitting blog. I am hoping that this blog will help me display the many projects that I have worked on over the past few years. These blankets make fabulous wedding, graduation, Christmas, and baby gifts. I have access to a variety of yarns...acrylic, acrylic blends, 100% cotton, bamboo, wool, silk blends and others. I also work from many different patterns including some of my own. Enjoy looking through the website.
Many thanks to my wonderful sister-in-law Caroline for setting this up for me...she knew I would never do it for myself. :)
